Thursday, April 20th will be the first day of our 2017 season.
Contact us at info@IndianSteps.org to find out more information and schedule your group tours and events!
Have you ever wanted to learn more about Native American history? Do you love sharing the past with others? Have you ever wanted to work in a Museum and see what goes on "behind the exhibits?"
If so, join us for a volunteer training session, and have the opportunity to become a part of the Indian Steps story!
1:00 pm - Meet in the Kiva Room for a free volunteer and docent training. No previous museum or docent experience is necessary.
Debbie Saylor, Curator, will be presenting an overview of the docent and tour guide program. Anyone wishing to join the team (or wanting to learn more about volunteering here) is encouraged to attend and learn about local archaeology, history, Native American artifacts and cultures so you can in turn share your knowledge with others.
We are seeking to add to our team of volunteers helping as tour guides/docents, information desk & gift shop assistants, school group & private tours, and special events.
Volunteer as often as makes sense for you. Even if you're unsure about volunteering, this will be a great session to gain free knowledge and a better understanding of what our wonderful volunteers do. See how you can join our team of wonderful volunteers who help make Indian Steps a magical experience.
Contact Georganne Scott, Museum Manager, at 610-999-4957 or see our flyer for more information.
